Conditions

  • A Team Interpreter (co-worker) is required for assignments that are one hour or longer or are highly complex.

  • Preparation materials (meeting agendas, a list of participants' names, power point presentations, background information etc) are required, where possible, at least three working days before the assignment. If these cannot be provided, the Client must accept that without sufficient preparation time the accuracy of interpreting could be compromised.

  • Regular breaks are required: preferably for 5 minutes per 20 minutes of solo interpreting. Team interpreting breaks are negotiable in view of the Client's schedule and/or agenda.

  • Interpreting beyond booked assignment time at the Client's request (eg clients are running over time) is at the Interpreter's discretion.

GDPR

  • My data protection notice is available here.

These terms and conditions will cover all assignments accepted by the Interpreter. At least 14 days written notice will be given for any changes to the terms and conditions.
